The Kingdom of Nuzkwamia is named after an ancient ruler who, according to legend, descended from the skies via Mount Nuzkwamia, which sits at the heart of the country. Nuzkwamia is notoriously remote and hard to get to, and until the late 1990s, there were no direct flights to the country from any major capital. There’s a widespread rumour that the true derivation of the country’s name is from the Latin word “nusquam”, which means “nowhere”. This rumour is nothing but a scurrilous fiction dreamt up by a mischievous joker.
